The most important output of this seminar is participants’ better understanding of balancing between these two rights and the question of proportionality, as well. The CoE and national experts presented their topics in a very professional and interesting manner. Details analysis of the freedom of expression and right to privacy under the ECHR and the Court case-law, were very good introduction to analyze national legislation and practice in this field.
This seminar was implemented with aim to train media and other relevant professionals in line with CoE standards on freedom of expression and information and to exchange information on responsibility and implementation of those standards in their work.
