Activity Synopsis |

Objective(s): | General objective of the seminar was to inform journalists, judges, prosecutors and lawyers on European standards, Serbian positive legislation and practise in the relevant filed. More specific objective was to encourage the discussion between different professions. |
Output/Results: | The most important output of this seminar is participants’ better understanding of balancing between these two rights and the question of proportionality, as well. The CoE and national experts presented their topics in a very professional and interesting manner. Details analysis of the freedom of expression and right to privacy under the ECHR and the Court case-law, were very good introduction to analyze national legislation and practice in this field.

Conclusions/Follow Up: | This activity was a repetition of the similar event organized in June 2007. Under the joint EAR/CoE project there is no space to repeat the same activity for the different audience. |
