Activity Synopsis

1.To present to participants concrete methods and models to help them to plan and structure their work in a more professional way;
2.To give them a better understanding of the modus operandi of the mass media;
3.To present to participants methods and techniques to improve their individual professional skills;
4.To give public information officers from different parts of Armenia the opportunity to exchange views, opinions and experiences.

 

In Armenia, there is a great need amongst public information officers for more training and education. The importance of a professional system of public information is more and more accepted. The level of professionalism in general however is quite poor. This has a negative effect on the communication between public authorities and public companies and the citizens. 

The participants managed to get a much better understanding of the importance of a professional way of working, learned new methods of working, improved their individual skills and established new contacts with other people working in the same field. 

Public information officers from the Parliament, Ministries and Departments, commercial companies of Armenia
