The aim of the training was to enhance the capacity of Equal Access Committee/Spilnyi Prostir Association to conduct a credible and sustainable media monitoring project prior to the 2007 parliamentary elections. |

| Conclusions/Follow Up: |
In the course of the training, participants showed their interest in the different aspects of media monitoring and asked a number of questions, making the training interactive. At the end of each session, Alexander Chekmyshev of the Equal Access Committee introduced concrete aspects of the planned media monitoring exercise. The training being short and intensive, the trainers considered that the participants received all the necessary information concerning an election-related media monitoring project (including a number of concrete examples from various countries). |
