Objective(s): |
To take stock and reflect on the results of the 2006 Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in order to take the lessons learned forward to the 2007 IGF. |
Output/Results: |
The Council of Europe Secretariat was able to refer to and reassert the Council of Europe contributions to and participation in the IGF, in particular recalling the Organisation's written submission which was referred to in the UN IGF synthesis paper, CoE experts participation on the panels of the main sessions on openness and on security, the CoE workshop on human rights and anonymity and its participation in 7 other workshops.
