Study visit for representatives of regional clemency commissions in the Russian Federation |
| Description: |
A study visit for members of regional clemency commisison in the Russian Federation. The study visit aims to acquaint the visitors with applicable human rights norms of the Council of Europe and with co-operation programmes related to the treatment of prisoners. The visit will thus represent the first stage in a project on human rights and clemency in Russia, the second part being a follow-up seminar called ''Clemency, execution of judgments, and juvenile justice'' in Buryatia, Russia on 28 June - 1 July. |
