How to achieve dialogue and partnership between NGOs and mass media in Chechnya |
| Description: |
The objective of the activity is to promote improved communication between human rights NGOs and media in Chechnya. Participants, who would be NGO representatives and journalists, as well as representatives of Chechen authorities, would engage in a tripartite dialogue. The issues to examine during the seminar will allow NGOs and authorities alike to understand better the motivation of journalists and the functioning of newspapers, radio and television, as well as how to package stories to appeal to journalists, how to create media strategies, and not least how to deal with journalists. |
