Contribution towards a seminar for about 100 participants from Kyiv and the regions, including representatives of the penitentiary administration, the Ministry of Justice, the Supreme Court, The Ombudsperson of Ukraine, non-governmental organisations, judges, lawyers and journalists on European standards in respect of torture and other cruel, inhuman and degrading treatment or punishment and the improvement of Ukrainian law, organised in conjunction with the Kharkiv Human Rights Protection Group.
