Title: Citizenship in Urban Contexts seminar 
Description: Citizenship in Urban Contexts seminar 23-26 November
Seminar organised by the British Council as part of the Council of Europe’s education and training programme
Target groups: teachers, teacher trainers, head teachers and their deputies, curriculum developers, citizenship co-ordinators, representatives of non-governmental organisations active in citizenship education
The course will include the following :
-an overview of citizenship education and participation in England
-dialogue with experts in key fields including continuing and initial teacher education, research, professional development , and participation
-visits to schools
-interactive group work involving action research
-cultural programme
