| Description: | • Conference of the Ministry of Education and the Landesschülerbeirat (assembly of pu-pils' representatives) on 16 October 2004, Ludwigsburg: ''Taking responsibility - living in community - learning democracy''. The Minister called it as the launching event for the Year in Baden-Württemberg.
• Setting-up of co-ordinating committee (ministry of education, youth and out-of-school education institutions). • Translation, adaptation and supply of COE materials (logo, slogan, poster, leaflet). • Translation of the ''All-European Study on Policies for Education for Democratic Citizen-ship (EDC). Regional Study. Western European Region'' (David Kerr). • Communication: website of the ministry of education (www.km-bw-de); planning of a publication ''democracy in school''; edition of Magazin Schule (regular publication) with the focus on EDC and the Year. • Call of the Minister of Education in programmes of out-of-school education institutions and the official journal of the ministry. • Participation at the education fair didacta, Stuttgart (28 February – 4 March 2005). • Planning of a joint conference of the Ministry of Education with the institutions for out-of-school (youth and adult) education (June 2005). |
