Title: |
“Training for Trainers: Using Non Formal Education to strenghten Your Organisations” in co-operation with the International Federation of Liberal Youth (IFLRY) |
Description: |
The organisation of IFLRY study session was disrupted last April due to the volcano cloud ash.
At its meeting in June 2010, the Programming Committee of the Directorate of Youth and Sport agreed to the Secretariat's proposal to give a positive answer to IFLRY's request to re-shedule the study session with a limited number of participants and budget.
The study session* aims to provide young people with an opportunitiy to familiarise themselves with tools and methodologies of non formal education and human rights education in order for them to be able to integrate this in their local context when promoting democracy and civic participation. The participants would have the opportunity to develop and practise necessary skills within the study session and familiarise themselves with useful resources they can continue to use later.
*Study session: seminar organised by international non-governmental youth organisation in co-operation with the Directorate of Youth and Sport, hosted in one of the European Youth Centres. |
