Seminar ''Youth Policy Development in Eastern Europe and Caucasus'' |
| Description: |
The seminar will gather youth field stakeholders from Eastern Europe and Caucasus Region and some European experts from outside of the Region.
Objectives :
* to establish contacts and exchange information and views on the status and developments of youth policy in the region, in activities of the Council of Europe youth sector and the initiatives of the European Commission;
among the key stakeholders of the youth field: youth policy makers, youth researchers and youth workers/leaders from the EECA region as well as Council of Europe, European Commission and European Youth Forum experts
* to discuss the potential fields of future cooperation, that would be of most added value to all sides.
The programme of the event foresees :
* sharing information about all the countries represented
* presenting relevant youth policy initiatives of both the Council of Europe and the European Commission
* discussing in small groups the situation and role of various target groups (young people, youth workers, youth researchers and policy makers) in defining and implementing youth policy
* discussing selected themes of special relevance to the youth field in the Region
* exploring networking needs and possibilities for the future
