Pilot seminar ''Youth Policy and realities, youth research and theoretical foundations of youth'' - short course of M.A. in European Youth Studies |

The project brings together first-rate teaching and research expertise from throughout Europe to create a unique Master’s degree in European Youth Studies, a specialist and interdisciplinary field that emerged in the 1990s in response to the rapidly changing European social its implications for the study of youth in the life-course and for young people’s lives. The EU-CoE youth partnership supported the development of the M.A. European Youth Studies from the start. The project has well developed and has received an Erasmus grant for the further development of the curriculum and its implementation in late 2011 ff. In the further planning phase of the M.A. it was considered necessary to organise a pilot seminar on ''Youth Policy and realities, youth research and theoretical foundations of youth'' in which essential parts of the future curriculum could be tested. The course would be organised in three stages: a (virtual) pre-seminar (10.1 – 4.2), the residential seminar in European Youth Centre Budapest (10.-16.2) and the post seminar (21.2-11.3). |
