Title: Seminar for Members of Youth Parliaments 
Description: Within its work programme of field activities in the Russian Federation, namely within the Action Plan for 2010 on the Implementation of the Framework Programme of Cooperation between the Council of Europe’s Directorate of Youth and Sport and the Ministry of Sport, Tourism and Youth Policy of the Russian Federation in the Youth Policy Sphere for 2009-2012 the Council of Europe’s Directorate of Youth and Sport co-organised a Seminar for Members of Youth Parliaments (for 30 Russian representatives of youth parliaments).
The course was aimed at exploring the principles, experiences and resources of the Council of Europe in the area of youth participation in youth policy making and development.
Participants shared best practices of the youth participation in legislation processes, youth policy development in the frame of Agenda 2020 and ways how to improve their functioning, impact, cooperation with state bodies, increase membership and involvements. Participants got acquainted and discussed the spirit and values of the Council of Europe, got acquainted with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) session process, they worked out strategy of involvement youth parliaments in the decision making process, they set up network for future cooperation.
