First meeting of the Ad hoc Advisory Group on Child and Youth participation (MJ-S-CYP) |
| Description: |
The first meting of the Ad hoc Group will essentially aim to agree on rules of procedure and working methods, to set a timetable for the work to be carried out and to prepare a plan of action based on the terms of reference, in particular:
- carry out national policy reviews focusing on child and youth participation;
- elaborate guidelines on child and youth participation at local, national and European levels;
- develop educational and training tools;
- possibly update existing CM recommendations on children and young people's participation.
The meeting of the Ad hoc Advisory Group will be followed by a Round table to which some 70 experts will be invited. The main aim of the Round table will be to promote the CoE actions on child and youth participation and to develop further actions in this regard, to exchange information and good practice and to stimulate the creation of a network of experts and other stakeholders. |
