Forum for the Alumni of the Democratic Leadership Programme |
| Description: |
Following the example of the Forum for the DLP Alumni that was held in Strasbourg in June 2000, a further Forum would be organised, in Strasbourg or Budapest, in June 2002. In view of the fact that the DLP programme is a project of the Council of Europe, it seems important that the Alumni of the programme, that is to say those people who have passed through the week-long training seminars in democratic skills, should receive an intensive briefing and debating session on the Council itself, its role and activities, in order to complete the training received so far and give them a central reference point for the Alumni network and its activities. This could also be complemented by training seminars on very specific topics, as well as extramural activities such as exhibitions, etc. |
