Research Seminar on Equal Opportunities for All |
| Description: |
The seminar was linked to the European Year of Equal Opportunities for All in 2007. It discussed from different perspectives the social dimension of access for young people (to services, information, support structures, education, work etc.), the meaning of inclusion / exclusion and obstacles which hinder equal opportunities for all. It focused on needs and possibilities for improving the provision of equal opportunities and young people's participation in efforts aiming at it. The seminar helped to achieve the aims of awareness-raising of laws against discrimination, promoting equal opportunities and the benefits of diversity and deepening understanding of realities of various inequalities. |
