| Objective(s): | The main objective of the conference was to raise awareness on the issue of media concentrations and media transparency among MPs, ministerial staff, broadcasters and journalists.

| Output/Results: | The conference was well organised. The materials distributed to participants included the CM Recommendations R (94) 13 on Measures to promote media transparency, R (99) 1 on Measures to promote media pluralism, R (2003) 9 on Measures to promote the democratic and social contribution of digital broadcasting. The 2004 SEENPM country report concerning Serbia was also made available.
