Objective(s): | The issue of media concentration is becoming increasingly present in contemporary societies given the fact that it may negatively influence pluralism in the media. The main objective of the conference was to further address these important issues and to identify possible ways of regulating media concentration so as to protect media pluralism. The conference aimed at an exchange of experience concerning these issues and increasing the level of knowledge on them. The specific topics included:

Output/Results: | The main debate was centred around the issue of media concentration and types of regulation of media concentration in the light of protection of pluralism in media. Participants exchanged experience and tried to find the similarities and the differences in defining media concentration in relevant countries. As to Bosnia and Herzegovina, it was noted that there are still no examples of media concentration.
