| Title: | Model School Conference Book |
| Description: | Contribution towards the publication of a ''Model School Conference Book''. The publication will present the experience of 21 pilot secondary schoold from 8 regions in Bulgaria, including the activities inspired by the European Year for Democratic Citizenship through Education 2005. These are club sessions and discussions for publicity, approaches of citizenship education integrated in the curriculum of diverse subjects, studies of the capacity of the school environment for student participation in the democratic governance, the elaboration of a school charter for non-violence, partnership models of collaboration with the larger community, action for parent involvement, conferences and seminars, field studies of institutional and non-governmental structures. The book will also include the newly created network and the suggestions made by the participants for future multiplier action. The book is envisaged 120 pages and 20 colour illustrations of activities. It will be compiled in Bulgarian with a short resume in English for each report. |
