The aim of the study session is to contribute to the mainstreaming advocacy and actions in defence of human rights as a crucial component of human rights education (HRE) with young people in Europe. The session builds on the results and discussions at the HRE Forum held in EYCB in 2009, putting together the discourse on activist-defender-educator and the practical implications of advocacy and actions for a change and sees them as integral part and competence of any human rights education activity. |
