Title: Training Modules on European Citizenship - Module 6: Role of Youth Work in Participation (training course) 
Description: The ''Training-Youth'' Partnership Programme (Council of Europe & European Commission) regularly organises short-term training Modules that address various aspects of European Citizenship.

These Modules aim at supporting the professional development of youth workers and youth leaders by extending their competencies to integrate elements of European citizenship within their projects and practice.

This Module (Module 6) will focus on ''European Citizenship: Role of Youth Work in Participation''.

The Module will specifically deal with the following issues and topics:
- Youth participation citizenship and democracy;
- Lifestyles, cultures, and life-management of young people today;
- Why youth work? – socialisation and education of young people;
- The role of youth work and of the youth worker;
- The European dimension in youth work;
- Questions of ‘citizenship’ and questions of ‘youth’.
